There are 172,000 hip fractures each year in the United States due to falls. Through the Home Injury Control Services, a staff person will come to an older person’s home to evaluate the physical environment and make any recommendations about ways to prevent injury that could lead to placement in a long term care facility or death.

Residential Repair & Renovation

This service works in conjunction with Home Injury Control Services providing minor modifications, particularly to the bathrooms of older persons to reduce injuries. The repair and renovation of older persons’ homes enable them to remain independent and stay in their homes.
