Central Illinois Agency on Aging, Inc. (CIAA)
is a vast resource center for seniors and caregivers. The
Information and Assistance (I&A) Specialist is able to connect
seniors to needed resources by assessing the problems, needs and
capabilities of individual callers.
A vast number of people are not aware of the
many services, benefits and opportunities that are available in
the Peoria area. A simple phone call to CIAA can often virtually
change the life of a senior.
Information and assistance services are free
of charge and are for seniors from all walks of life, not just
low-income people. Most of the direct services have no income
guidelines.
We also have a national directory listing
area agencies throughout the United States. You may contact CIAA
to find help for a family member in another state.

It’s not necessary to grope through the phone book, because you
may not find it; it’s not necessary to ask your friends, because
they might tell you wrong! We deal with seniors’ problems every
day and are able direct people to appropriate resources and
services.

Pages for Seniors. This is a generic list of hundreds of
services and benefits. The I&A Specialist can provide
